Hi all. I'm currently fixing myself some NPCs as marriable and able to fight via CK. Some of them I have also altered their facegen such as eyes or hair but I'm getting an issue while in-game. The body of this NPC is normal as it has to be but the face is darker than the body and the only way I found out for this to be fixed is to alter the NPC's weight through the Skyrim console. Any ideas how am I able to permanently fix it? Every help is appreciated.

(1) You .esmify the .esp in Wrye Bash and then load it in the CK.

(2) You select all the actors edited by the mod.

(3) You press CTRL + F4 to export facegen data. (It takes awhile.)

(4) You .espify the mod again using Wrye Bash.

When you upload the mod, you will need to include the facegen meshes and textures that have been generated.

Does this mean the NPCs are already in the vanilla game, but you altered them? Or are they entirely new ones you made yourself? If the former is the case, you only have to follow steps 2 and 3 from David Brasher's post.

No matter how many times I try the CK doesn't load. It freezes at "Initializing Facegen..." message. Does this have to do with the esmify?

EDIT: I followed steps 2 and 3 but I still get the "darker" face. Be informed that I am using CBBE slim if that matters at all.

I ran CK loaded the esp. as active and as plugin and did this: NPC>Edit>Character Gen Parts>Face Tinting Color White (Preset 255 255 255 white)>Saved

After this I run skyrim though the face remains dark. I will post a screenshot as soon as possible to show you what I mean

Nevermind I actually fixed it by combining Gurgelstock's advice and David Brasher's (3) only advice without the esmify and now works like a piece. Thank you all for your replies and help!

Kudos to the guys who bothered to reply with help given. You earned it guys
