Fix request: Awakening Throne room chest is inaccessible...

As the title says.

For some reason the personal chest that's supposed to be available in the Throne room in Vigil's Keep is just a decoration for me. No way to interact with it, it doesn't even say "Chest" or "Personal storage" when I hover over it anymore.

Leaving the Keep and coming back several times does nothing to reset it. I only managed to use it once before it bugged out on me completely.

Edit: I tried resetting the Usable flag with the Toolset, but t bugged out again soon after I used it the next couple times...

And for some reason, whatever I put in the chest is never shown in the chest's contents (the list stays emply). Not sure what's going on here...

Help please?

Yes, I have a few mods installed. Such as Camp Storage Chest, whose item I also tried to replace the buggy chest with as a test fix, to no avail. I tried removing that dazip with my existing game, but it doesn't seem to improve anything.

I had IA installed during Origins, but completely removed it for Awakening since it bugs everything out visually.

Qwinn's Fixpack only touches Origins according to his docs.

I have most bugfix mods for Awakening (Baroness, Silverite Mines, Blackblade Drop fixes, Cutscene fixes, Joining ritual, Law & Order, Vigilance graphics), along with DAO and DAO:A promo items from Bioware...

Other than that, I have texture mods like Theta's, Kirkwall Exports, Dracomie's stuff, Grey Wardens textures, and that's about it.

Obvious approach is to remove all mods and see if that fixes things. If so, put them back one-by-one until you find the culprit.

(Oh, and this not a "mod request". Moving the topic to "mod troubleshooting", since obviously mod-related.)

Unless you can prove that it wasn't something modded in Origins which I already removed that caused the bug, you might as well close this thread. I'm not interested in spending precious hours bugfixing a game when the suggested issue is tangentially related at best. That's why I asked for someone to fix the actual problem.

Thandal's advice is sound. Removing mods to diagnose an issue is SOP.

I will add that the one mod I can think of that would break the storage chest as you've decribed is Auto Loot, if the required DragonAge.ini configuration does not include that chest as an exception.

The game itself is not bugged, which seems to be your operating theory. If you're having a problem, it's because something about your install is causing the problem.

Nobody can make a mod to fix a problem caused by another mod without knowing what mod is causing the problem.
