MaelstromDesign
I'm making a new armory set mod which is themed around the style of 'carbon', more or less, and i wanted to create a new section to select when forging with the same name. I made of new material, but ingame, my items are set as 'Misc'. Has anyone managed to add a new material?
NoAardvarksAllowed
Adding new categories to the forge menu doesn't seem doable in the CK. They are hard coded.
eltucu
Nope, smithing categories seem to be hardcoded. No one has been able to make a new category or change existing ones (besides moving items from one category to another)
scrivener07
http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/595802-crafting-sub-menus/ This thread indicates that if you are handy with adobe flash video you may be able to do whatever you want with the menus. Sunnie
http://forums.nexusm...ting-sub-menus/ This thread indicates that if you are handy with adobe flash video you may be able to do whatever you want with the menus. Except create new categories... The guys developing SkyUI know the most about the flash/ActionScript UI stuff, and I believe they have most of the assets decompiled (not an easy feat) already. Yes, and the team is very kind with their permissions and available project files. You can view their permissions here and browse their extracted vanilla assets repository here. Hope this helps
MaelstromDesign
Damn, i wish even new what i was looking at. I'm mostly a texturer and 3D modeler, art stuff, not so much flash player and such, but i do have a friend i'm going to show it too. I'll post if he can make any break throughs regarding, but i wouldn't hope for too much.
