[WIP] The LoTR Project

Hi, I came across this topic while browsing the forums. I like the idea of this project, since LotR has a similar style as Skyrim and all.

I'd like to apply as Composer. I have made compositions in the past, though it was merely for fun to put on youtube. You can listen to some of my work here:

Though i have to say that the above material is 2 years old and my music library of plugins has been expanded and improved. I'm also a dance music producer and lately i have been combining dance music with orchestral music. This gave me the chance to make an official remix in the same style for a Finnish dance group named Aurium, which was released very recently (February 8th 2012 ) For legal reasons i can only post a Spotify link for this remix.

When I read this topic, I had some ideas flowing in my head for it. Playing on the keyboard i made a theme that combined elements of the LotR and Skyrim theme. But before i spend time to make a good demo i want to know if i am on board of this project or not and what else you expect from me.

Let me know, i will be following this topic to see the progress.

Out of curiousity does he intend to grunge them up a bit or leave them as is? They look beautiful, but a little too 'pristine' for a wooden shield imo. Unless those are decorative of course, in which case I can understand it.

On a shield that is being used I would expect to see flecks of paint missing, scratches, etc. But that's just my personal opinion.

Ah yes, now here is a mod that will surely be epic by the time it is finished. No doubt about it :)

I'll be sure to keep a close eye on this one :)
