I have a question, which nobody has responded to when posted anywhere else. How do I add a color for hair? It's not handled by textures, apparently, so is it a shader or something? How would I go about making a new hair color? I would just download a similar mod, but it needs to be a very specific shade.

 

I'd also like information on making a new hair mesh, but that's less important.

I figured out how to make new hair colors in the CK, but they don't seem to be showing up in-game.

try add vertex color in 3ds max or nifscope(not recommended, it's quite lots of works)

Unless you are just interested in making the changes yourself there is a mod that should let you pick any hair color you want because it has a huge amount of coloring options. Here's a link so you can check it out if you want.

As I said, it needs to be part of another mod. I need to find a way to make new colors. For some reason I made the colors, added them to the list, and they're not showing up in game.
