Okay i dont know if this post should go here, because im enticed at playing with a modded skyrim, im wondering if i should get it. now ill be playing it on my labtop because my desktop is too old. im meeting all the reccomended system requirements except the video ram, im meeting the minimum for that.

Other than the video card you should be able to run Skyrim, however your CPU is on the very low end, but should still run, depending on the types of mods you wish to run. Just items that aren't too big in texture size, lots of magic effects, graphic effects or other CPU intensive mods, should be ok. However I could be wrong, it would be best to get some other feedback also...
