Items in display cases

When I'm in-game (not in the creation kit) and try to put amulets/circlets in a display case and close the lid, the item spawns on top of the display case when I reload the cell.

 

How do I fix this, or do I have to wait for a possible update by bethesda?

The display case in question is in my own created house, buit I think I may have solved it by enabling "Don't Havok settle". I'm going to test and see if the problem is still occuring and get back to you. Edited by eagledude4

Ok, so this happens on all display cases with all items?

I think it is a problem related to item placing, cuz sometimes when i enter my house, and i placed a ornament somewhere, suddenly its in a totally different location.

Maybe there's a mod for it?

 

EDIT:: Maybe you could try this: Fps Limiter

I think it's a havoc issue. I may have found a solution, but let me confirm my findings.

Also, I can't see fps limiter helping a physics related issue, but thanks for the suggestion.

I find that if you go into the console, click the item you are placing and type tcl (remove its collision) they stay where they are supposed to stay.

 

What I do is

 

drop the items on the floor.

Save the game

Leave the house

Reload the game just saved

Place the item

Remove their collision (tcl)

 

Items still jump around a bit sometimes, but not as badly as without doing this. The worst I've had is the item jumped two times (a fishing rod) and on the third placement it stayed. Almost everything else stays on the first placement. The only item this has not worked on for me is the dragon map. It always moves.

Using "Don't havoc settle" doesn't work. Maybe I'll write up a script to use the cases as activators.

I tried the collision thing, but that didn\ work. Plus I don't want the people using my mod to have to do that.
