GuyWithOneEye
So I am playing Skyrim through Bootcamp, Lion, Win 7, 64bit and I ran into a nasty glitch today. While attempting to transcribe the Lexicon in Alftand, I make it through the first area (the glacier bit), then I try to enter the Animonculory where upon entering, most of the area, textures, buildings, floors, pretty much everything appears to be just a big empty space with the exception of some minor distant pieces of a building in the distance. My character just kind of floats there for a second, then falls, lands a fully normal piece of architecture in the game, without taking any damage. I also fall directly in the middle of 3 Falmers. I tried to fight them but then my game crashes to desktop every time after a few seconds. I would really love any help on trying to get this dungeon fixed because I can't complete the damn quest! UGH! Frustrating. Thanks all for any help.
dementia5
Same exact thing is happening to me. Seen this before with a mod for Oblivion, I chalked it up as something to do with running out of memory. I'm hearing that gamesave bloat could be the culprit. Sounds like a clean save might fix this, I'll try this at a later time. Is there another fix for this? Part of the main quest, don't you know.
