Best modern Civil War mods

So, I recently came back to Skyrim after a very long hiatus. I want to do some Stormcloaking, but not sure where the best civil war overhauls are these days. Can someone help me out here? Also, are there any that make the civil war more in-depth and not as.... cardboard and without real story?

I've seen Blood of the Nord and Second Great War - both look really cool. Have you played both? Do the quests cover some of the same kind of story? (Wouldn't a quest to put Ulfric in his place once you win for the Stormcloaks be awesome?)

Also, about Open Civil War - it looks pretty interesting. Not at all what I was thinking, but definitely looks cool. Thank you. Any others that cover the civil war itself? (As of now, I'm trying to decide between Open Civil War and Warzones, then doing both Blood of the Nord and Second Great War.)

So, been doing Warzones + Open Civil War and Diverse Skyrim. Simtam, you saved my civil war. Thanks. Last time I played Skyrim was before Warzones2015/Assault Attack and Civil War Overhaul itself barely worked. (Well, I got it to work, IIRC, but it took some doing.)

Anyway, just wanted to come back and say thanks. Also, a couple questions about Open Civil War:

Is there a way to do both the vanilla quests and the capitol sieges?

This mini-game gets incredibly confusing. Is there a manual posted anywhere? Google hasn't been much help in that regard.

You can do both the vanilla quests and the hold city battles; if you win and gain a hold either way, you'll have to lose it before you'll be able to wage war in that hold again. I've also heard of a patch to the fort battle script that would make it not conquering a hold. Something easy, one line needed to be commented out.

The OCW description in the Special Edition mod page is different than the one in the Classic Page (description with Readme and Change log). Some people prefer one over the other for clarity.
