My First Sighting Ever! I've been playing along time....

I know exactly what you ran into. This was part of a Daedric Quest for (Hircine). The traveling directions to this place are on page 215 of the Oblivion Prima guide. You have a pretty tough character....Dwemer=Dark Elf right? You had to be prett crafty to kill them off. I think I had a magical weapon to help me. I rode this most beautiful steed all over Cyrodill. The Quest asked for her horn...meaning you had to kill her. I'm not about that at all. What did happen was a land Dreugh got her.....I was not happy at all. I think what I saw will never happen again. (right time right place)

yeah, there should be a mod where all horse-type animals can be mounted...even deer. but i was reading and you guys were having a hard time with retrieving the unicorn, but just yesterday i was seeking it out in the grove... and i simply ran towards it, past all the minotaurs, no weapons drawn (or the uni attaks u) and mounted it and ran off with my brandnew unicorn... no hustle.

 

I also heard or people walking by and attacking and when the unicorn attaks him/her, they would just use a calming spell to calm it down and the unicorn would be mountable...

 

speaking of awesome horses: unicorns are fine, but i would suggest just making yourself a nice Fortify Speed on touch of over 20 for the longest period of time... so your horse will travel at mach 2 around town. I love doing this.
