ajs52698
For some reason creating a unique path for a behavior file doesnt work for a nif and im wondering if anyone has any info on this. Ive opened up the hkx files and changed the paths so I dont think thats the issue.
steve40
What about in the nif itself? Have you changed the Behaviour Graph File path in the BSBehaviourGraphExtraData node?
ajs52698
Yes thats what I have a problem with, if I change the path to my own behavior file location, it doesnt work.
steve40
Not sure precisely what you are trying to do, but maybe you need to define your own subgraph data. I had to use that method in my CWSS mod to create custom furniture animation keywords that pointed to custom hkx files. The other thing I had to do was create a custom AnimTextData file. The other thing you could try is load up your mod in Creation Kit and look carefully in the error box that pops up. The hkx errors get trapped in that error list. Those errors also get logged into a file in your root FO4 folder (I forget what the filename of the error log is, might be EditorErrors.log or something similar It is called EditorWarnings.txt). Search the log for words like "hkx" "behaviour" (behavior?) "subgraph", the filename of your hkx file etc. It might give some clues why it isn't working. ajs52698
alright steve40 ill look into that stuff, also do you have any information on animtextdata. I was aware of them but im not seeing the connection or use of them in the hkx files or anywhere else. Side Note - Ive only been messing around with hkx files because I wanted a animation to play a sound, and sadly you need a behavior file to do that, Edited September 15, 2017 by ajs52698
