Zamana
I am experiencing crashes while walking around on my newly created save. Riften, Whiterun and Windhelm all have the same issue, but Windhelm appears to be the worst by far. 3-5 minutes in Windhelm is a guaranteed crash. Occasionally crashes while interacting with npc's/menu's.(hitting tab or talking to a merchant.)I have run loot with no errors and sorted load order with LOOT https://modwat.ch/u/Zamana/plugins I am unable to currently upload papyrus logs do to "You aren't permitted to upload this kind of file" any advice for that as well? Kroekr
While the papyrus log is not very helpful for most troubleshooting efforts, you can always use spoiler tags and copy/paste the results. Since you are using the HiResTexurePack dlc, you should also use the Unoffcial patch for it to clear up bugs. https://www.nexusmod...im/mods/31255/? JackArbiter
Do your crashes occur every 15 minutes exactly? I hate going in and posting the same thing on two different posts, but since the Windows 10 virtual keyboard bug destroyed my game for over a year I occasionally go around screaming it loudly. I posted this response to the other thread but yours truly seems to be entirely random, which was my problem. (I promise I won't post this again, I just want to get this across to people, and no this isn't my guide, I just contributed one thing to it): The best guide for preventing crashes is probably here: https://www.nexusmod...im/mods/74427/? The crash that drove me insane for over a year is listed there (this may only apply if you use an ENB): If you still have totally random crashes after using previous tips, use a timer (or check beginning/end of your logs) to see if the crashes happen every 15 minutes exactly. If they do, it's likely caused by the touch keyboard and handwriting panel service in Windows 10.(Thanks to JackArbiter)To stop the virtual keyboard service and keep it from starting again, type services in the taskbar, click services, go down to touch keyboard and handwriting service, right click and stop it, and then rightclick>properties and select "disabled" for "startup type."
