Skyrim won't launch/start if modded with NMM :/

Hello everyone and my compliments for this huge Skyrim Encyclopedia that this forum is.

Is my first post so I hope I am writing in the right section, if not you will excuse me.

I recently bought through Steam Skyrim SE and I tried to install some mods through NMM (updated version) with No luck. I imagined it had something to do with the Mods Order! So I used LOOT and followed many tutorials but I will be honest here and saying that I don’t really know what I was doing. Used to mod oblivion and to have it working but, Skyrim seems totally different (ahah more than ten years passed!). The mods full list is pretty short so I may even copy paste here but what really surprise me is that the game won't start at all. Doesn't matter how many times I clicked on the icon or if I deselect the mods (all of them) neither SKYRIM or STEAM started. It was like clicking nothing.. neither the task manager registered any activity!

It was very frustrating so I temporary fixed it with a clear install of both steam and Skyrim se and have it to run it again.

Other weird thing at that point I installed some mods through Bathesda (the ones available are still from Nexus) and all of them seems to work fine to me.

Someone could kindly give me and explanation or link me a more detailed tutorial/guide/manual to have the mod installed and the game start?

Thanks in advance guys! I will anyway keep you posted!

Thanks for reply!

I did launch the game before installing the mod (since was explained in the tutorial), so I don't think it was something about that :/ But where exactly the file should be? Should I modify them (even if I am using NMM?) ?

And still the weirdest thing seems to me that the Mods installed through Skyrim Main Menu all work perfectly :/

I guess it was a problem of compatibility caused by the version of windows I am using.. It is a Normal Win10 but in Japanese, so a lot of file had a weird location in the windows folders, and I noted that when installing some programs (say NMM for example) instead of C:/Program Files (X86)/ Nexus Mod Manager was something like C:¥Program Files (x86)¥Nexus Mod Manager ...

I switched to eng so now should be better but.. I want to try once I have a different method :/ I am not even sure one can manually install mods in SSE folder (but I guess there should be no prob).

Do you have a tutorial or a guide to install mods to recommend me?

thanks in advance :)
