JamesRook
It's a bit of a pain that you need to build generators in every settlement. Instead, how about being able to use one of the many already existing industrial buildings throughout the Commonwealth and being able to convert it to a central power station? Power would be transmitted to each settlement through underground conduits or perhaps even existing lines to a central power outlet connection in each settlement. Each new settlement would require an update to the output of the central station to cover the settlements needs. Maybe some small quest to be able to unlock and connect the settlements power supply? Settlers might even have to pay a monthly charge so you could make caps from them.
BradValachovic
Or even just being able for electricity to be shared by settlements, so you could build a power plant settlement that supplies power to all your settlements.
