gmartins92
Shapeshifting isn't a very viable option in vanilla game for many reasons, but it can be corrected with 2 small things. First: the additional attributes you get when transforming should be added anyway. In vanilla game, it uses the higher value between the [base attribute + Shapeshifting additional attribute] and [base attribute + Added attribute (when leveling)] In my view it should be: [ Base attribute + Added attribute + Shapeshifting additional attribute ] Second: Since Shapeshifting uses STR attribute to calculate damage dealt, Bear is overall the best form because he gains STR, has rage ability (raises STR) and Spider does not. Spider should also gain STR in order to balance the skills and does not become obsolete after bear form is unlocked. It should be noticed that Spider attack faster than bear, but it has less armor and health, so only adding the same STR as bear get should balance the forms and grant the player a choice of DPS or TANK. Swarm is ok I guess.... Also, a small correction: In description it says that spellpower increase effectiveness of forms. Partially true. It should be added that strength is also important. Like this: The shapeshifter can transform into a giant spider, gaining a large bonus to nature resistance as well as the spider's Web and Poison Spit abilities. The caster's spellpower and strength determines how powerful the form is. With Master Shapeshifter, the mage becomes a corrupted spider, growing still stronger and gaining the Overwhelm ability. The shapeshifter can transform into a bear, gaining large bonuses to nature resistance and armor as well as the bear's Slam and Rage abilities. The caster's spellpower further enhances this bear's statistics and abilities. The caster's Strength determines the damage dealt. With Master Shapeshifter, this form transforms the caster into a powerful bereskarn and gains the Overwhelm ability. Please, oh wise and graceful modder reading this: I need you help with this!
