aozgolo
One of my favorite things to do in Oblivion was roleplay as a non-combative merchant character, so I gathered up mods that allowed things like running a shop, and various businesses, and rebalanced item prices and let my hire bodyguards. However one of my all time favorite mods which was very important for helping me get started at the beginning of my merchant career was called "Random Tasks" basically it adds a job board to one of the cities, that randomly places about 10 or so basic tasks you can do for money, things like collect 10 pickaxes, gather a sample of this region's flora, bring a daedra heart and vampire dust, and there was an NPC next to the board who you would turn the quest in to (you had to have all the items plus the note from the board. Every week the board was updated with new tasks to do. These are all menial go here, fetch that style quests, but it was great because it made you look out for items you might normally overlook, like grabbing certain alchemy ingredients even if you don't use alchemy, or going out of your way to buy a cheap mace at a store you can sell for higher in bulk. Would love to see this mod in Skyrim.
