grismo
Does anyone know where i can get an ebony shortsword or daedriec longsword/katana in morrowind.
Seradill
If you like to try the TES program, you can drag and drop one of the swords into morrowind at any location or house in the game. Restart the game and just pick it up. I made one for myself for the begining of the game and just droped it next to the bridge at Seyda Neen. Or if you are strong enough go to a Daedriec Ruin and pick up all the stuff on an alter below the statues and a Daedric will appear and fight you. They leave all types of weapons, axes, swords, staffs, knives, but don't try this unless you have some strength speed and armor and a good weapon to start with. Good luck! saldrex
If you don;t want to cheat you can go daedra hunting (lords and regulars or even golden saits) since they will have doedric items. You can find wild ones or summon and take their items. For summoning you have to be very fast since the body will dissappear along with any items after one or two seconds. Golden Saints are ONLY equipped with a Daedric Dagger, Netch Leathetr Shield, and a Daedra's Heart (no ebony shortsword there)2. 1 in about 50 Dremoras you find will have an Ebony Shortsword. I don't know about you, but I don't want to kill 50 Dremoras.3. If you summon a Dremora or Dremora Lord, when you kill it, it goes up in a cloud of whirling light, and you can't take anything from it. And, grismo: The Daedric Dai-Katana (arguably the best weapon in the game) belongs to a Dremora in a Daedric ruin. If you want the location of the ruin, pm me because this message is getting too long.
Dr. Corbett
You're actually a bit wrong. Golden Saints can have a variety of deadly weapons and any shield up to the legendary Daedric Tower Shield. If you're looking for some of the better shortswords, I recommend that you go to the Vassir-Didanat Cave near Balmora... Here's instructions. This references someone you need to find later in the main quest, so consider yourself warned for *SPOILERS.* I'm sure you're familiar with the quest where you go to the Egg Mine and put a violent end to the lives of a few unfortunate poachers. When you go down the River Odai, you may happen to notice a bridge spanning the river. If you get on that bridge heading across the river in a generally easternly direction, and follow the direction that the bridge points to, you'll reach a wall of mountains. Very, very, very near there is the Vassar-Didanat cave. (Heck, you might walk right onto it.) Go in, leave. Then, find Dram Bero, who is hiding in the St. Olms Canton's haunted manor. If you speak to him about the Vassar-Didanat Mine, he'll be so grateful that he'll give you a daedric weapon of your choice. Nice guy, huh? Select "short blade" for a Daedric Wakizachi, which completely owns the Ebony Shortsword. (Note that I think that the Ebony stuff looks way cooler, though.) saldrex
You can get items off of summond creatues but you have to be very fast and take it before it disappeares. I do it all the time. It is all about speed and timing, once you get it down it is quite easy. Golden saint have random items. They have glass, ebony, daedric, or dwemer weapons. They also are the only way to get the best shield in the game, the daedric tower shield. Also this is about getting daedric weapons and not only ebony. Next time before you make a post read the othe ones before, especially the first one to know what it is about, Ebecad.
cmac
The Daedric Dai-Katana (arguably the best weapon in the game) belongs to a Dremora in a Daedric ruin. If you want the location of the ruin, pm me because this message is getting too long. "The?" There are certainly more than one Daedric Dai-Katana in the game. Bolvyn Venim has one, Llaro Lethri has one, and the dead Redguard in the Maesa-Shammus Eggmine has one. If you mean the Daedric Crescent, then it is only accessible with Divalyth Fyr's Sanctuary Amulet. The Dremora Lord in the place you are transported to once the amulet is equipped has it. And there is only one of those.
Breton Thief Oriana
if you want an ebony shortsword that bad, there is one in Rethan Manor (or maybe the bal isra-located manor, i forget) that has it. just steal (or accept if its your Great House) it. Malchik
if you want an ebony shortsword that bad, there is one in Rethan Manor (or maybe the bal isra-located manor, i forget) that has it. just steal (or accept if its your Great House) it. Unfortunately, they don't exist unless you have joined a Great House and risen to the point of having your own stronghold complete to level 2. Certainly the free weapon from Dram Bero is the easiest Daedric sword to get. For ebony why not go for enchanted ebony short swords? IIRC, the bosmer in Sorkvild the Raven's tower has an enchanted ebony shortsword (?saints black sword). There is also the Shimsil - guessing a bit here - belonging to a wizard in one of the wizard towers ? Mawia??? Sorry if this is a bit vague no doubt someone will point out where I have got it wrong! Also, it was at the beginning of a sentence, so I decided to capitalize it. It isn't like I randomly capitalize words, for no purpose whatsoever.
