quartet1977 Posted March 7, 2012 Share Posted March 7, 2012 Hi, everytime I enter the Fairfax Metro, located in the Fairfax Ruins, my game freezes after only taking a few steps. This kind of freezing only happened once before, in the Arlington Library. Loading a previous save sorted out that problem, but that solution is not working here. I've tried several earlier saves but still freeze in the same spot. Any suggestions/tips/advice would be greatly appreciated! blove Posted March 8, 2012 Share Posted March 8, 2012 (edited) If that is FOOK2 1.2OB, be sure to use the Hotfixes. FOOK2 1.2 Open Beta Hotfixes 110601 The MMM/FOOK compatibility patches that you are using are for MMM 5.x and you are using MMM 6.x. MMM RC6.1, FOOK2 1.2OB Compatibility Patches Double check that you are using the right compatibility patches for WMK 1.1.9 and FOOK2 1.2OB. WMKFOOK2 Compatibility Patches Freezing in Arlington Library for some users can be caused by the automat01.nif installed by FOOK2. Deleting or renaming it has helped those users. I am not sure if that also applies to Fairfax. If you make any of the changes suggested above you should also do a cell reset as explained in the MMM instructions. I'll grab them and try them out, and also try deleting the automat.nif file. Can you tell me where I can find it? I only found a file named 'automat01.nif' in Fallout 3\Data\meshes\Architecture\Urban\StreetDressing\automat01.nif. Thanks again!! EDIT: I renamed automat01.nif and the problem seems resolved.
