vortexhlp
The problem I found in Skyrim (yes there are many) is that there aren't any celebrations, or at least none that I have found as of yet. So what if there were a new-years celebration mod where on both the new years day and new years itself it would be meant as an in-game celebration for every hold? That said, musicians would play music here and there, people would stay up later, the bar would be full of people, and if there's a hall in that city, perhaps people were to join the fun there. Everything would be scripted of course and perhaps a few small quests could be added such as "provide 30 nord mead" to the innkeeper and get rewarded. This isn't limited to just new years, perhaps it could be instead of new years, a celebration for something that happened historically in the past within the series. For places like Solitude, people would start having parties during the day, in fact the Jester mod could be implemented for some crazy fun times. What do you guys think? I'm willing to do some of the graphical stuff, I do this professionally, just not for games so it would be fun on my part =) This idea originated from the New Years mod created by hardcore1277. Thank you and I hope this is a great idea =)
ChromeWarriorXIII
They actually do have a New Year's celebration. It's called the New Life Festival. I'd love to see someone tackle some of the holidays in the Elder Scrolls universe since there is a lot of them. http://uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Calendar#Holidays
vortexhlp
Wow that is cool! The more you explore in this game, the more amazing it becomes. No wonder completing -everything- is just a legend :) Anyone up for the challenge though?
