ElQuesoBandito
Hi there. In Skyrim, it takes about 1 minute or so to load. :wallbash: About 15% of my SSD is empty. Fallout 3's loading times are never more than about 10 seconds. Any help will be greatly appreciated. System Specs-Intel i3-370M dual core @ 2.4Ghz6 GB ddr3 1333 RAM (about 1.7 GB is used by "GPU")Intel Integrated GraphicsCorsair Force GT 90GB Edited March 8, 2012 by ElQuesoBandito

I may be wrong though, i know int. graphics are a joke for gaming.
ShadowSky
Are those decktop or laptop specs? If decktop what motherboard are you using? What are your Skyrim Graphic Settings? A minute is a long load time, I have a regular harddrive and I'm up and running way under a minute....weird. bigv32
Couple of questions about your machine: 1. Like ShadowSky said, desktop or laptop? From here on out, I will assume desktop. 2. What controler does your motherboard have for SSD's? Does it even support SSD's (I know you have been using it, but does the manufacturer explicitly state SSD are supported) 3. How is the SSD connected to the motherboard? I am assuming a SATA 3Gb or 6GB port and wire. 4. How old is the SSD and if you still have FO3 installed, does it still work like it always has? Now a couple of questions and suggestions about your harddrive/software: 1. When was the last time you cleaned up the SSD (Defrag, delete useless files, etc.) 2. Have you updated all your drivers? 3. Do you have Skyrim actually installed on the SSD? (Stupid question I know, but it has been known to happen) 4. Do you have your mods folder and mod magager stored on the SSD as well? The last two questions I asked could be part of the problem if you have your files spread over two drives.

coinecc
I believe that's a mobile processor, not a desktop.

bigv32
I doubt it has to much to do with the graphics (we are talking loading times here not game performance). When you consider the fact that he said FO3 worked very well, it is even less likely that the problem is solely the graphics. Granted, the time it takes to render the first few screens of the game itself could cause some of the issues since Skyrim requires more in the way of graphics than FO3, but it would not take an extra 50+ seconds to load the game itself.
