Kajihad
Thanks in advance for any help. Also apologies if I'm doing something really obvious or dumb. So I had far to many mods in my fallout game, and the program merge plugins was suggested to me. I merged a lot of mods, keeping similar things together (all power armor mods, all gun mods, etc). Initially when I started the game everything mod-added was missing its texture, because I'm an idiot and decided to disable the whole mod in MO instead of just the .esp's. So I go back and fix that, but everything that was stored in a ba2 file still isn't loading. I tried extracting one (specifically for the T-49 armor mod, this was the first thing I ran into with this problem), and the game crashed to desktop. I tried removing the ba2 files from the folder, and it still crashed, removed the extracted files and replaced the ba2's, and it was fine (but textures still missing). What am I doing wrong? thrax7545
You can try extracting the archive, and repacking it loose in a new zip and activating it through your mod manager. It depends on the mod though, just be sure to test the new zip archive before you put it in a merge. Some mods just aren't going to merge well. With testing you'll single out the incompatible ones. I also recommend the merge plugins script for xedit. You can find it in the skyrim listings. It sometimes works when the stand alone utility won't. Have Fun! Make sure to test your mods!
