brandon3903
Hello, It seems like ENB cancels the screen whiteout and black fade-in effects (when the courier wakes up in the bed in Doc Mitch's house in the intro, and when you're receiving service from prostitutes) altogether, ruining my immersion. I currently use Rust ENB but I tried experimenting with other ones and the problem persists, though disabling ENB and it works fine. But I can't play without ENB and I believe there's certainly a workaround. And to my surprise, it seems like I'm the only one experiencing this problem. Anyone experienced this? Perhaps a way to remedy this? Thanks. Edited September 19, 2017 by brandon3903
dubiousintent
Those are "Image Modifications" (IMODS, aka "fade to black", etc.) and a known problem with ENB. Try the mod Imod emulator for ENB by TommInfinite. Will pick up on any vanilla imod, but may not work for some quest mods that use their own imods. Safe to use with any save game as long as it's not in the middle of an imod effect. -Dubious-
brandon3903
Thanks dubiousintent! How I've not found this earlier is beyond me... You saved me from a lot of trouble! Solved.
dubiousintent
Glad I could help. FYI: Please see the 'Solutions to Post-Processor (ENB/SweetFX et. al.) problems' section in the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide for other such problems, or if you come across anything we should add to it. -Dubious-
