ThunderBone
Hey everyone, it's been a while since I have played skyrim, patch 1.2, and I used a lot of mods and everything worked very well. Now it seems like I use anything and it gets crash happy.the HD 2k Textures is a no go, Xenius character enhancements is a no go, enhanced blood is a no go.. seems like the patch broke a lot of things. I'm pretty good with computers and have done a lot of modding with oblivion anddiablo 2 with no problems. Is there some ini settings that I need to make? any kind of special patches I need or what? I'd be very grateful for any input or ideas. I would revert back to anolder version however the new version fixed that uber annoying 5 second freeze every few minutes, sometimes less. My system specs:Windows XP 32-bitAMD Athlon 7750 Dualcore 2.71GHZ x2 <has 2mb L3 cache, uses phenom tech>EVGA Geforce 460 GTX OC 295 driver4GB of ram, however it only uses 3.37 due to the 4GB memory address limitation of 32bit OSCreative Audigy 17200RPM SATA WD 160GB harddisk driveASUS M2N-32 Motherboard all my drivers are up to date.. for anyone who would take the time to help me I say thanks in advance. BlackCompany
When and where are you crashing? In game? Loading screen? Main menu? What are you doing when crashing? Random stuff, or same actions every time? Any information you can provide will help people help you.
ThunderBone
depends, when I have all mods loaded up it instantly crashes after loading or starting a game. it loads everything and once it all releases and gets rdy to play it crashes. sometimes it'll wait a second or two. with mods like xenius character enhancement or say the HD 2k texture mods it will crash mostly when I go to fast travel or run around. sometimes instantly after loading the saved game. it never crashes at the main menu or anything. sometimes it will run for a minute of running around, till I go to load up to another place. I have been using the NMM and Boss to show me the loading orders, so I assume I have those correct but if that was an issue why would it crash when no mod other than xenius and the hires texture mod from bethesda is running.. or just the HD 2k texture mod. If it did witch I think it will than cool, if not than you must unpack all your BSA files that means your "meshes" to your data folder, you can use something like "Skyrim BSA unpacker" or "Fo3 archive utility" if it doesn't work with FO3 Archive utility then use the other one. This should fix all your crashes unless it's hardware related wich jugging from your above specs you should be good . Hope this helps let me know.
