overground55
Ok so I downloaded the creation kit and was having a blast untill I loaded my cells in game. When I get into the game half of my room house furniture w/e is there disappears. I do no use anything from oblivion or anything else so it's strictly the creation kit. The lod I have never messed with and only get problems during game...WHY IS EVERYTHING DISAPPEARING!!?!?!?!
David Brasher
Did you use nothing but items from vanilla Skyrim? If you tried to use items from mods, I can see why they disappeared. Using items from mods in your own mod has to be done in certain special ways. Did you chance to copy initially disabled items? Your copies of the items will be initially disabled too. overground55
Yeah it's vanilla only everytime i load it into the game the stuff disappears and i can fall through the floor etc. The wierd part is I have a 50/50 chance that it will do it in th ck as well when i go to relook. Not sure whats going on but would love it if it loaded properly
David Brasher
Are you using any mesh replacers? (With or without an .esp.) If you had a bad mesh with improper collision geometry this could happen. This possibility only applies to havoked loose objects and not static furniture or static activator furniture: If you placed clutter too low, so that it clips the floor rather than resting on top of it, then it could fall through the floor on being subjected to cell load havok. phenderix
No they disappear for me too. I am starting to get extremely frustrated. I don't know why. Half the time in the CK objects don't show up and are invisible and then a lot of the objects in-game that you can see in the editor are not visible in-game. These are serious issues with the CK that are driving me insane as well. Don't know if anyone has solutions to these problems.
Sunnie
These issues seem to be unique to you though. Are you using a sufficiently powerful PC? It almost sounds like you lack the memory and/or processing power needed.
David Brasher
I specifically upgraded my computer to make it powerful enough to run Skyrim. It used to be an Oblivion computer. I have never had the problems you guys have had with objects not being there in-game. I have, however, witnessed the CK failing to render objects now and then. It usually happens in an exterior cell. Usually a town where there are a ton of objects. I have seen buildings fail to render. The door will be hanging there in space with no building. The building is there when I play the game of course, and if in the CK I go to another cell and then come back to the one with the missing building, it will usually be rendered there appropriately. warlordmordrid
To save you a headache, its related your video card. Check the drivers and make sure it can handle the graphics quality you have your game set to. It did it with my old card where in game or CK things would disappear right in front of me, it would be loaded, then disappear, then reappear, etc. Check your VCard's temp too and make sure its not hot. overground55
Lol it's not my driver or pc I have a quad core computer with 16gigs of ram and a 6770hd radeon card...but the havic seems to make sense...allthough I highly doubt that's it.
