coalcreekcanyon
Yeah, I'm a noob to modding so please forgive this very basic question. Downloaded several mods , and directions at first seemed clear enough... "Manual Install -- Extract the content of the mod's archive to your Skyrim/Data directory."Here's my confusion (example: Sounds of Skyrim - The Wilds) --- once extracted, I've got a folder called >Sound of Skyrim 101 Full version - 10886< DO I PUT THIS ENTIRE FOLDER IN Skyrim/Data? or... contained in that extracted folder are 2 sub-folders >Docs< and >Sounds<, plus 2 text files with instructions & attributions, plus a file with Swiss Army knife icon called > Sos - The Wilds.esp< . (The >Docs< sub-folder contains only a repetition of the text files with instructions & attributions)Looking in Skyrim/Data folder, I already see a couple of similar Swiss Army knife icon files, so I now wonder if what I need to put in Skrim/Data is ONLY the >Sos - The Wilds.esp< file and the >Sounds< sub-folder ?? Please advise.
phenderix
Open the folder Sounds of Skyrim. Then Cut all of the folders/files in that folder.Than past them in Skyrim/Data.If it asks you to overwrite anything select yes to all. Good luck :)
David Brasher
If ever you download a mod and the folders are strange, read the documentation. If it is a good mod, it will explain exactly how to install it. If it is a bad mod, it won't tell you, and you can delete it.
