Niborino9409
That's weird. Is it much work to redo the imperial armor? Feels like there's something related to when you saved the file or something  Edited October 4, 2017 by Niborino9409
Grospolina
Maybe there's something wrong with the NIF then? Try opening it in NifSkope and setting the textures directly in BSLightingShaderProperty > BSTextureSet. Maybe SLSF1_Remappable_Textures isn't set in BSLightingShaderProperty > Shader Flags 1 or something like that?

Niborino9409
Try remaking it in that case and save it with those mipmap things. Hopefully that works :) I also doubt you would have to open the nif since it works for everyone else on the Nexus. I'm assuming this is about vanilla armor, right? =)

I don't have nifskope and I have no idea how to use it so if that were my only option, then I would just make a request for someone else to make the recolor or just deal without it. Grospolina
Okay, since it's a vanilla armor, I went ahead and tried it and it seems to work. Here's a comparison shot: https://imgur.com/a/iWrtZ I did saturation -50% and -100% in Photoshop and saved it with the settings from the second image. These were the files: Data\Textures\armor\imperial\m\cuirass.dds Data\Meshes\armor\imperial\m\cuirassheavy_0.nif Data\Meshes\armor\imperial\m\cuirassheavy_1.nif I didn't have to do anything with the NIF files. The BaseID for the armor is 000136d5. I noticed that there was another armor called "Imperial Armor" with BaseID 0401a574 but when I tried to add it, it didn't even show up in my inventory. According to the first two digits, it's from Dragonborn DLC.

I went to reopen it and it would load for a sec but then it wouldn't do anything else. For some reason, I cant get BSA Browser to open anymore. I tried to uninstall it from my laptop completely and redownload it but it still doesn't work. Any ideas? PS. Sorry for needing so much help. I usually have a pretty good idea of what i'm doing when it comes to modding but apparently not this time. And thank you guys for all of your help so far. I really appreciate it. :) Edited October 11, 2017 by SkyTaylor21
