JackiChain
I'm making a mod that adds a custom NPC with custom voicefiles. On my main PC, where my FO4 and GECK is installed on my D: drive, everything in the mod works including voicefiles and lip movement. So to test my mod, I started out moving the loose files to my laptop, but in-game the NPC doesn't have a voice and doesn't move his lips. Everything else works, including subtitles for the conversation.I then made the files to .ba2 files and moved them, but with the same result.I then converted the .wav and .lip files to .fuz files and tried again, but again I have no voice. On my laptop FO4 is installed on the C: drive.Any help would be appreciated. JonathanOstrus
On the PC where you're making the mod does the voice stuff work? You only specified that you "tested" using your laptop. Not that you ever tested on the dev machine. One would think that would be the first place to check. If it doesn't work there it's unlikely to work elsewhere either. Edited September 22, 2017 by BigAndFlabby
steve40
Have you tried generating an SEQ file? Important! As of 1.7 the game uses SEQ files in order to track Start-Game Enabled quests you've added, and possibly ones you've altered. These files are needed for your dialogue and scenes to work properly. You may generate them using TES5Edit or the CreationKit. These instructions here are for Skyrim, but iirc they still apply for FO4 as well. The NPC still says nothing.

werr92
For F4 there is no need in SEQ files.
