vampire race

i was looking through the mods trying to find some good vampire races but i couldnt find any that looked convincing, the vampires look rubbish on oblivion anyway. what would be good, is if the vampires have thier fangs showing. and to solve the daytime thing is to have the vamps with stonger attributes at night. there should be elder vampires and normal vampires. elder ones being more wrinkly n scary. normal vampires should look like mick st john vamped up from moonlight. this is wot i think will be cool....

well i agree that the oblivion vampires look rather rubbish with too pronounced cheek bones and some kind of bizarre rash

i dont think they should have their fangs showing perosnally i thinkt hey shoudl more like vampires from vampire the masquerade more like normal people but pale and possibly with red eyes while the elders should look like the normal oblivion vampires

at any rate thats what i think i cant actually help you create them

awww, everyone duck, here comes a rant:

Vampires, look, ALMOST exactly like you or him, very rarely are they extra pale or have fangs. Vampires have the NEED to feed but can sustain themselves off theyre own blood for maybe ten days, after that they will begin to show withdrawal symptoms. When they feed, theyre eyes SHOULD change color, usually to a VERY bright green, they are noticeably stronger, faster, etc than humans and do burn in the sun. For a vampire to go into the sun is the equivalent, of you walking into an oven.....not that hot of an oven, but you get the jist of it.

ok, rant over, NOW,

Even I like the fanged look, so i took the liberty of making a new mesh with fangs, but i wont be releasing it till i work all the kinks out

I'm pretty sure there's no "correct" method of doing vampirism, what with every setting doing it differently. And incidentally, the standard TES vampires do have fangs, (The higher the vampirism, the bigger they are) it's just that the situations where you initiate dialogue with a high vampirism vampire are very rare. TES Vampires are also, in vanilla, noticably stronger, faster, stealthier, etc than humans.

Bluekatt: Not sure what you mean by a rash, but I find Vampirism 50 is a healthy compromise for vampiric appearance. Here's a before-and-after of a few NPCs moved to Vampirism 50, with Vampire Age Offset -20.
