Question regarding vram in Windows 10?

I have A Sapphire R9 FURY paired with a i7 6850k I edit videos more than I game but I do game frequently and it's kind of half and half I would say but I noticed that the fury is HBMM so does it mean Im getting double the amount of Vram compared to a normal 4g card with GDDR5? The fury has 4 of HBMM so wouldn't the fury be the king for high resolution textures besides vega of course. I play Skyrim with 4k textures with almost everything at ease with out running out of memory I tested everything and I get around 40 fps in most cases but I also have a 1080 that gets real great frame rate with 60 fps in most areas all at 1440p resolution but runs out of Vram quick does this make sense? Sorry if I sound like a noob.

HBM is a newer type of VRAM than GDDR5, but it's still the same physical amount. That is, if you need 4GB of VRAM for whatever game/program, then it doesn't matter whether it's HBM or GDDR5. So, no. You're not getting double the amount of VRAM.

However, where HBM differs is in how fast it can move the data from RAM to the GPU's processing (and, I think, vice-versa.) This really speeds up response time and therefore FPS. All other aspects of two cards (one equipped with HBM, the other equipped with GDDR5) being equal, the one equipped with HBM should be more effective in terms of frame-rate and less artifacts.
