Leinadn Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 Basically i did the IGN guide to mod NV. If i run the game through NVSE loader, it works. If i run through steam, it doesnt. Im trying to change the resolution since I have it at something like 400 by 268, and whenever i launch through steam, it crashes right after the launcher pops up. Is there any solution to this?
dubiousintent Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 That is not right. First of all, try without launching the game through the Steam Client. Try launching from "FalloutNVLauncher.exe" in the game root folder. (You do need to launch the Steam Client first anyway, but you should try running it in "offline" mode instead of clicking on the game in the Library.) Then note the error message(s). Please see the 'Checklist' and 'Solutions to Starting the game problems' sections in the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide. -Dubious-
