cant get this to run at 1080p

what has changed? i have plated this for 250 hours now when i run it. it does the black screen
lock up at 1080p. ive tried pref ini usual fixes. when i try windowed boarder less it will load 720.
if i do the ini edits for 1080 it boots but its in a small quater of the screen window.

this is a clean install no mods no fall out scrept extender nothing. anti virus is off

its like it not taking the changes that i mke to the prefs ini

just last week i started this up went into options. set it to ultra 1080p played fine up untill this last patch.

With this sort of thing people need to know more about your setup.

 

 

I have a similar problem with this game.

 

I play at 4k resolution. If Windows(7) is set to 4k the game loads in at 1080 in the top left corner. That is in both modes. My fix is to have my desktop at 1440 and the game loads fine. For Skyrim SE I have to put the desktop to 4k to load properly. I only have issues this game & Skyrim SE. It is not an issue with older Bethesda games.

 

I know other people with similar issues. All you can do is experiment. That is what I had to do.

 

If you have a desktop computer look for your monitor driver at the manufacturer's web site. Sometimes it helps.

 

The CC updates stopped my widescreen computer loading the game. It turned out to be my widescreen mods that add files to the interface folder. My fix was to use a pre CC execute file. You may have a similar problem.

6700k

gtx 1080

16 gigs of ram

 

i play on a 65in tv. so 1080p @ 60 hrz

 

its fixed now. when i was having thiss problem i was using a 4 Terra bit partition. it works like always. on a 2 terra bit.

i dont know why this has anything to do with it.and only this game. wierd

Something to do with their filestructure not being fond of any storage drive over 2tb, likely a cache size error or a dirty memory allocation pointer.
