Question about requesting name change or account deletion

I am working on my first mod and I want to use a different name to post it.

 

Would it be easier to just request this account be deleted and make a new one, or request a name change (if thats even possible)?

 

 

 

 

EDIT: It seems requesting deletion is the way to go...I am curious how long this process takes, days, weeks?

I would wager a safe guess and say hours at most, if at all even.

 

If you look at this topic and the last posts https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/5416300-account-closure-requests/ and which posts have not yet gotten a moderator replying inline, you'll see how quick staff actually is to respond to these.

 

For reference, as of right now even the last request was already honored.
