stebbinsd
Charisma sounds like it should have an appreciable effect on your companion's affinity. After all, in Morrowind and Oblivion, speechcraft and personality both had an effect on NPC disposition. I'd like to see a mod where each point of charisma past 1 point increases the affinity gained for each action by 10% and reduces the affinity lost (except for murder) for each action by 4%. This means that, at 11 charisma, affinity would be doubled and, at 25 Charisma, affinity loss for all but murder would be completely eliminated. Alternatively, maybe you could make it so that charisma below 5 would reduce the rate at which you gain affinity and increase the rate at which you lose affinity. At 5 charisma, you gain/lose the vanilla amount of affinity, while charisma greater than 5 would increase affinity gain and reduce affinity loss. I still would prefer it to require a really high affinity (e.g. somewhere in the 20s or 30s) before affinity loss is eliminated altogether. It only makes sense that characters should like you less if you do something they don't like, unless you're literally the most charming person in the world. Obviously, Preston Garvey would still refuse to deal with you if you join the Nuka World raiders. But that's a scripted event that bypasses the affinity system altogether, so I don't think this mod would conflict with that.
