Prenihility
Did you patch the GECK so it uses 4GB? Please see the 'GECK: Common Problems' and 'Custom items' sections of the wiki "Getting started creating mods using GECK" article. -Dubious- Just patched it. Still crashing after clicking on Edit on gun model. EDIT: Was the FCO interfering. Fixed. Edited November 3, 2018 by Prenihility
Prenihility
Not to necro, but how can I actually export a .esp for safe keeping so I don't have to do this again in the future? It's not in the main directory or Data. The .esp I made is there, though, showing in MO and in the GECK.
dubiousintent
MO doesn't store ESPs in the game "Data" folder. They should be in the "install" folder. It only copies "symbolic links" to the "Data" folder. When you open a "symlink" you do open the file in it's actual location (the "install" folder) though. As I recall, GECK does not automatically create a backup (i.e. ".bak") of an edited file. If you didn't save a backup manually (using Windows Explorer) before editing, then you may need to look for it in your system backups or possibly extract it again from the download archive package. More than likely the location depends upon whether you opened GECK from within MO or not. Otherwise, please take that up with the MO Support team. -Dubious-
