Removing grass from existing landscape textures?

Hi all. im currently working on a mod where i have alot of grass and im trying to make some paths in the grass using a dirt texture. So far so fine, everything works but there comes the problem. I want to use one of the "green" mods, such as overgrowth overhaul but for some reason there's suddenly grass on my dirt texture which had none in vanilla. I've been trying to figure out how to remove the grass generation from the dirt texture that i assume Overgrowth effects but with no luck.

 

Any advice or suggestions would be welcomed :)

The mod could be replacing textures that you are using or maybe overwriting them.
