ShortStash28
This is probably going to come across as an incredibly stupid question but I simply ask you be civil as I'm very new to modding. How do tools like bodyslider actually implement the body types you create in game? And how do you actually give your character that body preset? I'm just having trouble understanding exactly how bodyslider and things like CBBE and UNP actually work because its not related to racemenu. WastelandAssassin
so I'm not really sure how racemenu modifies your body , but I do believe that it does the same thing as Bodyslide , which is modifying the Nif files that the game usesmods that change how your body looks (or how armors look) just provide you with already modified Nif files , whereas Bodyslide allows you to modify these files using specific sliders , rather than by manually using NifSkope If you want to learn more about this , and how to properly use Bodyslide , there are links to several tutorials on the mod's main pageI would personally recommend the video by Gopher , which is also featured on the main pageIt's slow and very methodical , just as any of Gopher's videos arenote that it's a video about Fallout 4's version of Bodyslide , but these should be almost identical , if different at all hope this helps :)
