TomTesoro
I am getting the dialogue bug even though I have a SEQ file. (The one where you have to save and reload for the dialogue to play.) It doesn't happen with all of my dialogue, only some lines for a few actors, and it seems to be random. Random meaning that I don't know where or when it's going to happen, but it always happens in the same places, to the same actors, and the same lines. I have generated the SEQ file multiple times, after making dialogue changes and adding new quests. Is there something else at play here?
agerweb
Could be a few things: 1. Those voice files were not saved in the right format.2. The CK changed the Voice filename after you had used it to rename a voice file.3. The CK did not correctly pick-up the custom line4. Your conditions for the line of dialogue are not correct5. Something else weird. To test the first three with a line (you will have to have lip and wav files in the directory not fuz) go into the Edit Response box for that line and double click on the sound file and see if it plays. TomTesoro
To test the first three with a line (you will have to have lip and wav files in the directory not fuz) go into the Edit Response box for that line and double click on the sound file and see if it plays. I put the lip and wav files in there to test, but they do not play when double clicked, although this has always been the case for me.
agerweb
Go into to the Edit Response box of a dialogue line and press save which will generate a wav and a lip file. Then copy your custom wav file into the correct directory to overwrite the wav file just generated by the CK then redo the lip file.

agerweb
When the dialogue doesn't play do you get the dialogue subtitles coming up as they should? If not then its the conditions not firing somewhere.
TomTesoro
No, I just can't activate the actor at all.
agerweb
In which case either your dialogue conditions are wrong or the wrong voicetype is allocated to the actor or some voice files are not recorded in the right format (wav mono 16bit 44100hz). There are a lot of variables here if you can't fix it - PM me, Package your esp with the files and put it somewhere I can download it and I'll take a look (tell me which NPC's are not working). TomTesoro
Thanks for the offer. I'll have play through this weekend and mark down all of the instances where it's happening, and get that to you then. No time during the week.
