Game launching with black screen but with sound after using ENB...

Ok, I am trying to fix this issue for 2 goddamn hours now. No progress whatsoever.

I was trying out several ENBs. First the enhanced shader ENB from Nexus and then the base ENB from the official website. I mostly want to use ENBboost.

Anyway, after I put the latest ENB files from the official website into the game and tried to launch it, I get a black screen but with sound. The game doesn't crash and sound runs normally. I simply cannot see anything. The ENB note in the upper corner is active.

I tried already to completely reinstall the game and create new profiles in Mod Organizer. When I try to run the "Vanilla" game I get a CTD on launch. I tried it with NVSE too, same.

When I put the game into the same state as it was with its inis the game launches but with a black screen and sound.

I am at the end. Nothing works. I am unable to play the game. I dont know what ENB has done but it is poison to the game.

I hope anybody knows this issue because from my point of view I did everything possible which should have fixed such issues.

Did you install Steam to it's default location? If so, please see the wiki "Installing Games on Windows Vista+" article for why the original default Steam behavior of installing games to the "C:\Program Files" folder tree was bad (they learned better, and don't do that any more); and why "disabling UAC and running as Administrator" is NOT sufficient, with instructions how to move it. This is the single most important thing you can do to fix and protect yourself against problems in the future. As much of a PITA as that is, it's never going to be any easier than now.

Please see the "Windows Error Messages" section of the wiki "How to read most Bethesda game error logs" article. With a CTD, those error messages are important information.

Please see the 'Solutions to Starting the game problems' section in the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide.

For your ENB problems, most likely it is due to a faulty install. See the 'Solutions to Post-Processor (ENB/SweetFX et. al.) problems' section in the "Troubleshooting" guide for some things to check for. My initial guess would be you put the D9D3.DLL file from ENB in the wrong folder.

Honestly I tried all those guides already and followed their black screen fixes but doesn't do anything for me.

As I said even reinstalling a completely clean install does nothing except forcing the game to CTD. Clean means a clean redownload from Steam and a deletion of all files from before including saves and inis. 100% clean. No ENB used too. Makes no sense in my eyes. ENB must have done something to my system files. Thats the only explanation I have right now.

The only "system" file involved with ENB is the D9D3.DLL file, which according to the instructions is supposed to go into the game folder and NOT (as some people make the mistake of) into the Windows system folder replacing the file that comes with the OS. If you didn't copy that DLL to the Windows folder, then your issue is not likely to be ENB related.

You need to track down the CTD error message in the Windows Eventlog, as explained in the link provided above. That should give us a clue if the problem is a corrupt system file. If it is, then you will need to use the "System Checker" tool.
