Deleted4610270User
Its probably crap to just ask for that, but if someone out there feels extra generous have successfully accumulated and merged 130 mods to make Witcher 3 into a game I want it to be (overhaul of everything without using any AIO overhauls like W3EE or TES of GhostMode) and took me a very long time to do so. The praise goes to mod develops and the community, although I'd like to pay myself on the shoulder for getting it all together. This one merge error is not even that important because it simply binds in-game menu to its configuration XML files / mod's in-game settings. I can select just one mod to use from within the game and adjust default values of the other mod using their XML values. This also means that the 2 mods are fully merge-able and someone with knowledge of manual script editing should be able to merge the two scripts with much ease. You would also be helping many other people who wish 2 very immersive mods - Atmospheric Nights (GOTY) and Friendly HUD could be fully merged together! I uploaded my set of Merged Files, Atmospheric Nights, Friendly HUD and Unification Scripts I use to make sure it all works here - https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B54HJ36TbhjwdzNzU0x4cml0Ukk/view?usp=sharing . Please understand I am not boasting my collection - no credit goes to me, all credit goes to mod developers! I hope I am not breaking any rules linking to my uploaded files. If someone wants a screenshot of my Mods and DLC folders along with my Mod Merger merge order, then I would be more than happy to oblige. If someone does help me merge those two mods, then I would GREATLY appreciate it for I would be DONE modding this game, start a new game and re-live each and every moment with new graphics, new animation, new audio, new combat, new gameplay, new everything! willief23
pics of the mods folder and dlc folder will definitely help. knowing all the script mods you have merged is the most important thing. Deleted4610270User
Well, I am not sure how that would be because the conflict is directly visible if you put all my files in appropriate directories and run Script Merger... Nothing else matters... You will see a single conflict between Atmospheric Nights and Friendly HUD. Heck, you do not even need the Merged Files... willief23
ya you provided the script files themselves already merged with script merger, but that doesnt give me an idea which script mods you used. some script mods comment in the name of their mod into the script files but not all of them do this. Some dont even comment in what lines they edited. Send me screenshots of the script merger program that will show me the names of all the script mods and which script files they edited. Deleted4610270User
Any ideas? I mean its just merging the script so that both in-game Mod's Menus' can function at the same time...
willief23
its going to take me till thursday or friday to look at it all due to work. Also its a lot easier to try to merge Darker Nights with Friendly Hud. Atmospheric Nights was stolen from Darker Nights and the author trying to pass it off as his own mod. There is very few changes compared to Darker Nights. Adding some env files is the only actual work done to Atmospheric Nights. He also went as far as adding random comments all over the script files to try and make it look like he did more changes lol. Deleted4610270User
Actually, I just realized that if I simply select "C" (FriendlyHUD) during Script Merger (over Atmospheric Nights), both in-game settings very much work... You just have to either save/reload for effects apply or meditate for a few hours... In others words - nothing is broken!
