psychomantis108
Hey I've been around for a few years, mostly downloading mods and now I'm trying to make my own. I feel that I've done pretty good so far, considering that the thing actually works but I've run into the following snags... I've started off with the basics, a 'my first vault' kind of thing as most people recommend and so far I have the basic layout done and the NPCs placed but it's not all there as far as the basics go. These issues are things that I do not know where to begin as far as finding a solution goes and yes, I have used Google, no such luck for these issues. The first issue that I'm facing is that NPCs keep flying into the ceiling, never before have I seen this happen in game and I haven't a clue how to fix it. (See image 1) The second is that I created a bunch of prisoner NPCs, kind of like you have in Vault 3 but they won't stay in their cells. In fact, they've broken out into a fight in the hallway and I have no idea why they won't spawn in the spot where I placed them in the G.E.C.K. They are supposed to be hostile towards one another, that part's fine but prisoners that don't stay in their cage... well, they aren't prisoners at all really. I should also point out that they aren't simply escaping. The Cell door is locked with a medium lock and the door in front of it is protected with an easy lock, so that isn't a possibility. They simply spawn in the corridor outside of their cell, as if to mock me. The third issue is that some of the doors seem to double up. I open them and then have to open them a second time, because they sort of exist twice. I've checked and I haven't accidentally duplicated any of them. In the G.E.C.K they appear as normal doors but in game they're like conjoint twins. So yeah, hopefully someone has a clue as to what I'm on about. Been liking this so far and I'm finally understanding how the G.E.C.K works. Thanks in advance for anyone who took the time to read.
