Looking for talented writers

I would love to assist you with any of my stories if you'd like. Most of my stuff's pretty dark and mainly based on my emotions when I write it (poetry). I also write character stories and such and could probably work on a project if given a little direction on what to write about.

Here's a sample of my poetry

you could use my storys if you want. they are about two people who.....oh just read the storys

....

Thanks eaper13! Nice story, quite depictive. It does not really reflect my own lore/story line, but it's very, you have talent. Maybe you could write a book or a diary, for a Tom Bombadil like NPC who will play a role in my mod?

About Tom Bombadil - He must have another name, any ideas would be appreciated. Here is a description iof the character:

A mysterious and powerful being, called by the Elves Iarwain Ben-adar (Oldest and Fatherless), who dwelt in the valley xxxxxx

What kind of being he was has never been certainly discovered (see ORIGIN below), but at some stage in the past, he seems to have settled at the edge of the Old Forest, setting himself boundaries, but boundaries within which his power was extraordinary. Tom was a creature of contradictions, one moment defeating ancient forces with hardly an effort, the next capering and singing nonsensical songs.

PYSIOLOGY AND ATTIRE

An old stout man, well plumped thanks to his wonderful wife cooking marvellous meals, but strong and agile as none have seen before, as well as able of tremedeous speed bursts. His costume consisted of a blue jacket and yellow boots, and he wore an old and battered hat, surmounted by a feather.

HAT

He seems to have preferred to wear a SWAN-FEATHER in his hat, but he had acquired the feather of a Kingfisher instead. In his own house, rather than a hat, he wore a crown of autumn leaves, perhaps revealing something of the elemental powers he possessed.

ORIGIN

He is one of the prevailing mysteries in Tamriel. Tom is an enigma, even a myth for most of Tamrielians. We have almost no clue of his origins or his fate, his purpose or even what kind of being he is. What we know from the tales of the Battle of High Rock, is that he's not a member of any known race. He was said to have the physiology of a typical Breton, but much too tall to be of that race, being about at least twice in height, and more over very, very old. So old that the rare tales mentioning about his presence range from the First Era to the Third Era, so we can assume that he is immortal as an Elf. But he is not an ELf either that's for sure.

Is he a Daedra Lord? This is the most common suggestion, to the extent that it is sometimes treated almost as 'fact'. There is, though, no direct evidence for this - it seems to be based on the idea that since Tom can't be one of the Nine, and there is no other possibility given his tremendeous power and the fact that he's not a member of any known race, then he must be a Daedric Prince.

However as we'll see, these are both flawed assumptions. First, Tom might be one of the "Ten" (which would lift a huge commotion amongst our Religious body): his breif apparition as depicted in the Lost Tales of the Battle of High Rock, defeating xxxxx in what was considered as a "lost cause", can be considered as a "Divine Intervention". And there is at least another possibility: Though we can't say for certain that Tom wasn't one of the Daedra Lords, there are grave difficulties with this position. The most important of these is a passage in one of the Elder Scrolls: « As Daedra are beyond mortal comprehension, they are incapable of being truly "good" or "evil" in the conventional Western sense, and for the most part, their actions and behaviors, as well as their very natures are merely interpreted by mortals as being subjectively evil, as this is how many of the infinite Daedric concepts "transliterate" into the finite mortal world. ».

Now, a diary depicting the Battle of High Rock, will be in possession of another NPC who's role is to give clues to the player about Tom's whereabouts (the PC will need to meet tom in order to advance with other quests). It should be based upon the above-mentioned description, as well as what follows:

In 3E 253 the Camoran Usurper invades and captures the region of Dwynnen and holds it with an army of zombies, ghosts, vampires and skeletons.

The Baron Othrok and his less legendary allies, the rulers of Ykalon, Phrygia, and Kambria, finally ended the Usurper's carnage in 3E 267. News of the Usurper's barbaric treatment of captives and abuse of conquered lands, mostly true, spread rapidly through their territories, and then to their neutral lands. Within a few months, the greatest navy ever combined organized along the High Rock edge of the Iliac Bay. Only the navy of Uriel V's illfated invasion of Akavir was comparable. How the combined forces of High Rock defeated the endless army of the Camoran Usurper is certainly worthy of a lengthy book in itself.

Some beleive that the weather worked against the Usurper, evoking a divine intervention. Others though have reported a sudden and unexpected advent from a totaly unknown ally of an unknown race, a Breton-like being but at least twice the race's normal height, swiftly blowing away Camoran's forces with mighty elemental powers, under the wrath of a violent weather storm. It is said that even though this being had a massive morphology, for not saying corpulent, it was so agile that it could jump over the surface of water, from ship to ship back to the shores and so on. Was such a powerful cynetic energy transformed into static shields of energy over the water, the reason for the thundering tumult? However, nobody even had the chance to thank whoever did this, as the being just vanished along with the tempest, towards Eastern lands...

.... What say you?
