GunNutMerc
I'm currently using this mod that adds the Laser Rifle from the older Fallout games: https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/36492/?The mod worked fine at first but then I started getting this aiming bug when I fire the weapon: https://gfycat.com/MiserlyWildFiddlercrabThe weapon has no iron sights and zooms in fyi (which is not the problem). As you can see, firing while zoomed in just brings the rifle to my face before going back to the default position which is sort of bugging me as it didn't do that before. Reinstalling the mod didn't solve my issue. dubiousintent
That is not sorted correctly. Please see the 'Vanilla "Load Order"', 'Towards Game Stability', 'Third Rule: The Rule of One', 'Smaller Plugin Cap', and 'Merge Patch file' sections of the wiki "FNV General Mod Use Advice" article. -Dubious-
GunNutMerc
Ah so it's got something to do with the way I sorted out my mods. I'll play around with my order and see if anything changes.
GunNutMerc
I sorted it as it's shown in the articles and even created a merged patch using FNVEdit but I still go nothing, it's still doing it.
dubiousintent
Well, I'm afraid I don't have a solution to your specific problem. But one problem can mask another, so every step you take to minimize things that are incorrect improves your chances of finding what is actually at the root. This is especially true when you had it working correctly in the first place but then things changed. Did you install any animation replacers? Change any INI file settings related to Iron Sights or aiming? The animated GIF looks like you are in FPV (1st Person View), but it thinks you are using a scope momentarily before cancelling that "zoom". I see from the mod description that it comes with a scope, so that is normal behavior. It would seem the positioning of the scope in front of your eye is what is off. Please see the 'Aiming -' entries in the 'Solutions to Graphics problems' section in the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide. -Dubious-
