Fusion Cells Work Like Fusion Cores

Would it be possible to make Fusion Cells work like Fusion Cores? Where one cell is enough to power an entire weapons magazine, much like how a Fusion Core powers a Gatling laser?

technically , there is a way

there is a setting in the GECK , when looking at ammo , to change the charge of the ammo

I actually did something like this with the acid soaker from Nuka World , though I can't remember what setting it is you need to change

 

you can look at my mod , and see what I changed , or just look at the Fusion Core and find the value of 500 (I think it was health or something like this)

then just change the Fusion Cell's setting to a number of your choice , and test it

do note that it might not work well due to having different magazine sizes for laser rifles , so you will need to check how it works
