LetoShade
I currently seem to have a mod that is adding armor sets without my knowledge and don't want to play whack a mod until I know which one. Any way I can check what adds the item in-game?
WastelandAssassin
yes there istake one of these armors , and drop it on the ground . then open the console , and click on the armorit should show you a reference numberthe first two letters of the id are the placement of the responsible plugin in your load orderso just find the responsible plugin , and see which mod adds said plugin , and you are done do note that it's usually not safe to remove mods mid playthroughif you must do so , try to follow the instructions provided on the mod's page , for safe removal (if there are none , try to find instructions for safe removal of mods , though I can't direct you to such a tutorial , as it really depends on what the mod does)
LetoShade
thanks a lot this will help with a major headache of mine. Edit: Thanks greatly I'd have never guessed my plasma saber mod was adding tmnt armor. So yeah uninstalling that mod until they get that crap outta the mod. rms827
Try the magicka sabers mod instead. Same general thing without the silly extra armors. As for the "safe" way to remove mods if there are no specific instructions... I follow the general advice for upgrading a mod: Back up your save, uninstall the mod, start the game back up, and make a "clean save" at that point with the mod not in the game. If you were upgrading the mod you'd install at that point with the clean save. OldRIm also had a Save Game script cleaner that removed references to deleted content from your save file, BUT that doesn't seem to have made it over to SE yet.
