Numbnumb
Is there a real way to actually unblock the presets so that new presets can installed? I have used the mods that are supposedly replacers, and some that I would love to have in the Character Creation menu but no matter which one's I try to install, even with NMM, none ever show up in the 15 presets, NONE.I have no idea what I am doing wrong. I do know that trying to find the presets in the game files on my computer are none existent. If anyone can assist I would most appreciative. Thanks
WastelandAssassin
which preset mods have you installed , that don't work?because from my experience , many preset mods use LooksMenu , and so they don't actually change the presets of the gameinstead , you can access these presets using a different menu , when creating your characterIf you are using such mods , there is a very real chance that you just didn't install them properly , as the files need to go the the F4SE folder , and I'm not sure these work when installed by a mod manager (most of these recommend manual installation , which for other mods is usually not the recommended method)If this doesn't answer your question , providing more information on your end will probably help us help you :)
Numbnumb
I checked my game just today and the looksmenu presets for female have changed. The two I did not care for are gone and two really nice ones have replaced them. As for the 'fat' faced one she has been modified by Bethesda to appear more youthful and young. Looking much better.I have also found that 'installing presets' in Fallout 4 do not replace any of the 15 male/female presets. An update: Apparently the two that were buttugly are back. Don't know how I got them back but I did. So my selection of Females dropped from 15 to 13. Rats!!

At one time not but two weeks ago I had the advantage of having 200 male and female presets to choose from. It was awesome. Many were buttugly but there were still some really good ones. The day before yesterday that changed. My ingame presets went back to 15 only one or two of which I would ever want to use. Now today those 15 M/F presets have changed once again. No improvement on looks. How long is Bethesda going to continue monkeying with these "horrible few" presets? Why in the world doesn't Bethesda allow gamers to replace some or all of these presets with their own? There are some fantastic mod makers out there who have come up with remarkable face textures that could be great replacements. It would certainly improve the game experience for the ones playing this game. Or am I making sense again?
