theredheadhenry
So I have this skin I am modifying for a mudcrab. Simple color change. I saved the dds file in Photoshop and one area of the texture is black. When I port the texture over to Niffscope and view the mudcrab, he looks great! Only problem is that black color is showing when it should be transparent. What is the correct settings to save this with transparent black? Attached is what I have. The area I'm most concerned with is that little black brushy hair area. You can't miss it, it's a black triang If someone could save this file correctly for me, or show me what to do, that would be great. Thanks! http://s000.tinyupload.com/?file_id=43247944889641023624 (dont click the ad button, click the text link that says rhh.dds)

Levionte
Here you go. It's all about the alpha channel. Black is transparent, white is visible, grey is in between. http://i.pi.gy/gPn0.jpg Edit: I should also mention, you need to enable transparency on the mesh as well if it isn't already.
