Junk/Concrete Walls Provide Defense

When it comes to setting up defenses for your settlement, one of the things most of us think to do is to set up walls around the perimeter. It's a tried and true method in the real world of protecting what's inside the walls from outside aggression. This method has been used since the dawn of time.

 

But in-game, walls do virtually nothing to stop attacks. In a way, this makes sense. If you're not in an exterior cell at the moment, the game can't possibly account for each individual static object you've placed in the settlement and adjust the NPCs' pathfinding to compensate. Sadly, this is unavoidable.

But you know one way we can overcome this hardware limitation? Imagine if junk walls and/or concrete walls provided 1 defense each? You'd obviously be building a bunch of wall pieces, so we don't want them to provide too much defense on their own (and besides, one measley piece of wall is not going to be even the slightest hinderance to an attacking raider, anyway).

 

Combine this with another mod I'm requesting that would factor defense rating into your chance of winning an attack you aren't personally present for, and walls will suddenly become super valuable to our settlement builds!
