Help me please! experienced modder needed

I really need help with my skyrim SE mods please, none of the mods i install at the moment appear in game, i dont know whats up, and everytime i launch LOOT and then go back to NMM the plugins for the new mods i installed are unticked. HELP! been trying to figure it out for days. Also i should note that i had to delete this file inside the blacktree folder or something to reset my NMM because the application wouldent open, then i had to rescan games and put in the correct folders for where my previous saves were saved, i may have chosen the wrong folders but when i launch skyrim my previous mods are all still in there, just no new ones i install.

Sorry no-one's helped so far. I don't use NMM, but can I ask: have you installed the game to your C:\Program Files folders? That area has a lot of permissions requirements, and if you have installed it there this may be the reason why you are having difficulties.

If you have one drive, use a folder off Root of C or something - anything away from the Program Files.

Well what loot does is ot orderes the plugins, it doesnt enable/disable them.

 

So do I understand things right that download the mod, (see it grey under mods tab in NMM) - install it there (which turns them black and with a green tick), then run loot, it re-orders the mods, and when you turn the NMM back on, then the mods are still black woth green arrow but non - tickes in plugins tab?

 

Or are they grey in the mods section and dont appear at all in the plugin section?

 

Because you could sort the first by manually ticking the ones you want back on (dont bother worh loot again, it sorts even the unchecked ones) - this should fix it.

 

In the second case - i would just avoid loot, and order the nods manually based on the description at the mod pages. Good luck!
