I Can't Figure Out Which Mod Got Rid of Circlets

Just like the subject, I'm trying to find which one of my mods has gotten rid of Circlets. I have a feeling it's the Skyrim Community Armory mod because for a while all circlet's were replaced with hockey masks, which I found, are in that mod.

 

In any event, what would be the best method for me to find out what's the cause?

if a mod has changed an item , than if you drop that item in game , open the console and click on the item , the first two digits of the ID you see will be the place of the responsible plugin in your load order

another way is to open TES5Edit , load your entire load order , then find one of the circlets , and see which plugins modify them

but the second method takes much more time , and is more problematic

 

I'm sure there are other ways to do so , but unless others suggest something easier , I hope the first suggestion will lead you to solve your issue

The item being replaced are the Circlet the Jarl of Whiterun is wearing. Since I can't equip his circlet, is there a way to find the circlet he's wearing since I can't drop it from my inventory?

Have you clicked on the Jarl, opened your console and typed "inv". That should give you the id on whatever the Jarl is wearing. Once you find the id, you can use "player.additem (circlet) 1" command.

Seriously thank you both so much. I was able to find the culprit (ended up being the Shared Community Armory). it was replacing all the Circlets with the Hockey Masks from Friday the 13th (Ironically it's Friday the 13th today)..

 

anyhow it was extremely immersion breaking meeting a Jarl with a Hockey mask on
