Potema - Story Expansion idea

I always thought Potema would make a more intrueging enemy or perhaps ally.

 

As a Pro-Imperial Legion person currently, I felt intoxicated at the idea of the reinstallation of the Septim Bloodline.

As They always seem to be the best hope for total Control over Tamriel for the last thousand years or so right up till the Oblivion crisis.

 

Stupid Dagon.

 

My idea is this:

 

Potema during the time after she was released into the world in spirit form, she reviewed the time between her rule, the Oblivion crisis, the Great War and right up till the point she learns about the death of the High King.

She sees the Mede Empire as a Joke, sure she wanted to enslave her own subjects and making them into walking undead but the spirit of the Septim stength still flowed through her.

 

This is where she gets the idea to re-establish the Septim imperial Empire and rebuild it's former glory albiet in her own form of masses of Undead and gain power to rival that of a daedric prince.... or Mannimarco?

 

She would start to build her own Imperial Legion using the name "NecRoman Legion" Or something not so wired

 

Nec as in Necro and add the Roman aspect since the Imperial Empire is modeled after the Roman Empire.

 

This could lead up to a quest where certain criterias and quest outcomes are met:

 

1. You join the Imperial Legion, and it wins the Civil war, you become a Legate

2. You defeat the first attempt of Potema being resurrected.

3. You kill the Emperor Titus Mede II in the DB storyline.

4.You reach a certain level say 40.

 

With all these, you get that letter from Folk Firebeard about Potema in spirit form and under Solitude, but this time, you are approached by a follower of Potema, trying to convince you, as a loyal subject of the Empire, he or she tries to convice you that Potema is the best hope of restoring the Empire to its former glory and re-establishing Tamriel under complete total control.

 

To do this, Potema will rise an army of undead, using the Draugr and fallen enemies of the Empire to add to her ranks.

If you did not complete the main quest line regarding Alduin, this person could also assist in the fight against Alduin as he is also a major threat to the Empire in its current form.

They mention that whist the Empire was under the control of the Septim Bloodline, it prospered for many centuries as well as ensuring te Oblvion gates where shut for good thanks to the sacrifise from the last Septim that was Martin.

He/she states tha it was such an act that only a Septim could achieve that saved the Empire before it crumbled and reformed under the mede banner.

The Mades are strong but are no Talos Blood runs through them.

 

I need help with this idea

 

but what do you thin about the initial story?

Would you like to help Potema gain control of the Empire, crush the Thalmor and Stormcloaks in Skyrim and use thier remains to build an Army of Dead that will revive the Septim Empire and ensure that it will never fall again?

 

Its not exactly the Noblest or good thing todo but its a great concept to bring the Septims back in power, even if the Empress is a bad egg with a zest for Necrophelia.
